July

July came and went as faster than i thought possible. Ryan and i had a nice quiet 4th of July. No lake or fireworks this year. Next year should be better when Rylee will be older and can participate a little. That seems to be the pattern of this year.

Ryan started working for my Dad's company Las Deos Enterprises remodeling apartments and my brothers new home in Colorado Springs. It seems like this summer is just flying by with Ryan being in Colorado Springs and Rylee and I being here it seems like this summer has been nothing but work and hot boring days. While Ryan is remodeling homes and apartments i have also been working on my own projects around the house. I redid our bathrooms (paint, mirrors, and decorations), dry-walled our basement over the old wood paneling ( my dad taught and helped me), redid our flower beds, which amazingly took longer than i thought it would, trimmed up some of our bushes will work on more later. I have some more projects that i will be doing over this coming week when Ryan goes back to work.

Cheyenne Frontier Days was also in July. For those of you who may not know Cheyenne Frontier Days is one of the largest Rodeos there is nick named " The Daddy of em All". They have concerts and PBR rodeos in the evenings of this week and a half long affair. We went to Josh Turner and Alan Jackson both which are great in person and have amazing voices in my opinion. Rylee also had her first experience with the Thunderbird's Demonstration Team. She did as we expected, fine with the stunts and all but cried when they did the close very loud surprise fly by's. We covered her ears as best we could but she could still feel the vibrations and it was still loud. It was nice to have the family all here. All of Ryan's siblings and their families were here for about 4 days.

Rylee has also made some leaps and bounds in development recently. She can roll over both ways now. She first learned to roll from her belly to her back then from her back to her belly. Once she did that she forgot how to roll back until these past two weeks she's done great at going both directions. Also she cut two teeth in one night. She now has her two bottom front teeth. They are still working their way all the way in but she has them. And most recently she is learning to sit unsupported. She still teeters back and forth and occasionally says hello the the carpet or bed depending on where she is sitting. I am so glad she's learning to sit because she is almost too long to for her car seat according to the Dr. She is one inch from being to long for infant carriers and will have to move into a convertible carrier. I'm a little excited about that because those carriers are so awkward and become more so the heavier the child is. So naturally there is no way to carry those things gracefully. So carrying Rylee will be much easier for me than that carrier with my 18.5 lb daughter.

So the pictures from June took a while but i finally got them as well as some from Easter.
