Rylee's 1 Year Old

On January 15th we had Rylee's birthday party. All of the Aunts and Uncles made it and we had lots of friends too. We had about 6 kids in the house which was fun to see them all play together. Rylee got lots of fun gifts and we had fun putting them all together. I think Rylee's favorite part of her party had to be the cupcakes. She ate hers then took frosting from grandma's cupcakes and ate that too. Ryan and i expected her to not feel so well after having that much frosting, but she's her Papa's granddaughter and did just fine. She got a good bath and went to bed after that so she could sleep off the sugar high. It was lots of fun, and was nice to see all of the family!

Christmas & Newyears

For Christmas this year we were only in Riverton a few days. We had a good time with the family and got to see pretty much all the family on both sides this year. I'm so glad we have so many people who want to see us when we go home, but i always feel bad because we never make it to all of them. I think we are going to have to do some time management next time we are in Riverton instead of flying by the seat of our pants like we normally do. All in all though we had fun and that's what counts.

Ryan had to get back to Cheyenne on Monday to coach diving, which irked me to no end but what can you do. It was nice to have that week at home with nothing i HAD to do. But in the end i can't seem not to do something so i went through my clothes, Christmas stuff, shoes, and linens and took a whole bunch of stuff to Good Will. That is always good getting rid of stuff that's just cluttering up your house. On New Years Eve James, Amy, Leila, Brandon, Lesley Grace, Madison, Alli, and Aunt Linda all came to our house for steak and shrimp and a bunch of games. It was lots of fun! We played the Wii fit and saw how unbalanced everyone was and Madison even got to play which was fun since we had to help her a little since she's so light, but she got so excited when she got to play too. It was a great night with everyone!

Whistler

For Ryan's graduation in May i got him a trip to Whistler in December. So we drove to Denver freakishly early in the morning on December 18th to get on the plain to Vancouver, then we took a bus to our Hotel. We stayed at the bottom of the slopes and we could literally snowboard to our hotel if there was enough snow. We snowboarded for two days, well i snowboarded for a day and half a run the second, and Ryan snowboard  for most of the second day. My feet hurt too bad to snowboard much the second day. We ate at The Old Spaghetti Factory the first night and it was great, and for our anniversary we went to a steakhouse called Ricks and it was delicious, and Ryan got not good, but great creamy vegetable beef soup. We had so much fun walking through the Village at night and seeing all the lights and the Olympic rings.

The farthest up i went, Ryan went up to the top but it was black diamonds up there.
