Thanksgiving/ Trip home
So we are back from Arizona, and Thanksgiving at Ryan's Aunt Lisa's house. It was a long 12 hours with 4 adults (2 being pregnant), a toddler, and all our stuff, but we made it in one peice with my huge swollen feet and a car sick Chloe by the time we got there. Once we were there we enjoyed a SHOWER and i enjoyed a long nap with my feet elevated! We enjoyed the time with family and the fun board games, and i thought i was good at Mad Gab you've got nothing on Lisa's kids! We also played spoons, well they played spoons i watched it can get physical playing with Ryan and Chad. We played Buzz Word with about 5 people on each team wich is fun because not all the pressure is on 2 people. Thanksgiving day dinner was great and Anthony's (Lisa's husband) dad got out of the hospital just in time to join us which was nice! Later during our stay we managed to try manuto, which is a soup consisting of hominy, veggies, and tripe (cows stomache). I didn't try the tripe but the soup it's self was good kind of like a chowder. I will be more adventurious at trying foods i've never had before after i don't have such a large gag reflex, and weak stomach. Everyone who tried is said it was kind of bland tasting on it's own and absorbs the flavors of the soup. We had a great time and i'm excited to go back down in May for AJ's graduation when i'm not pregnant! Also everyone needs to be checking the blog i'll post Ryan's graduation date here soon so you all know to save the date.
So we'll be leaving for Riverton on Monday after my dr's appt. to spend about two weeks with our families. I'm excited to go home and see everyone for longer than a weekend, and have a nice relaxing Christmas. I'll be full term (37 weeks) the 20th (our anniversary figures) so we could have a nice Christmas surprise while we're home. We're taking the hospital bag and car seat just in case, we don't want to have to buy another one, those things are expensive. Well here's some pictures of our house that we finally got decorated about a week ago!

News to know for November
So as i said before our lap top crashed so that is why there haven't been any updates recently. As you all know if you have read our blog that we are expecting a little girl in January named Rylee Berry Rivera. My mom has been visiting us for about 2 weeks now and has helped me paint 5 rooms, including the nursery, and she is helping me make curtains. It's so much cheaper to make them now days! I seriously doubt if i would have gotten it done if she hadn't come help, since Ryan is focusing on school as he should be. But i feel very good about what we have gotten done and it's starting feel more like home than it did before, because i can get our pictures and such up on our walls now that they are painted. My dad also came down a few days ago and updated our wiring in our house with Ryan's help. When we moved in the wiring was pretty scary in some places and a lot of codes were not met. Creepy considering we did have an inspection before we got the house, but nothing surprises me anymore from some of the dumb things we've been finding. Let's just say the previous owners were not handymen of any sort.
As for Rylee like i said before we got her room painted and finally got her decorations on the wall, and my dad brought down the rocker, my parents used for myself and Jesse when we were little, and that is also in our nursery. Jesse got the bassinet, and for those of you who don't know Jesse and Mallory are expecting March 10th exactly two months after my due date and they are expecting a little boy named Logan James Malone. But back to Rylee i will post pictures of her first room here in a bit when i can get some pictures put onto Jesse's computer that he's lending us until Ryan's done with this semester of school.
My doctors appointments have been going pretty well. She is measuring about two weeks bigger than average for how far along i am. She has been measuring big since the 28th week so the doctor is keeping a close eye on how much bigger she is measuring so that if it's a large amount we can do an ultrasound to make sure everything is okay and she's just a chunk and nothing else is wrong hopefully! I'm very nearly done and i really can't wait to meet her. I have hit the turning point i think, when everything goes from being uncomfortable sometimes to uncomfortable all the time. But i try not to complain about it to much, because there isn't a whole lot we can do until she is born so i just do the best i can at being as postive as i can be.
Here on tuesday we leaving to go to Holbrook Arizona to spend Thanksgiving with Ryan's Aunt Lisa. The last few years Ryan has had to work on Thanksgiving so my family came to us to this year since he doesn't work now we are taking the 12 hour drive to Lisa's to spend time with her for Thanksgiving. This doesn't even come close to how many trips Lisa makes to come to pretty much as many family events other than Thanksgiving and Christmas as she and her family can. I'll try to get some pictures up of belly's, and nursery ASAP when we get back.
Halloween
Sorry everyone our lap top crashed and so i haven't been able to post in a while. So for the first time in a very long time we got together this Halloween and everyone including adults dressed up and went trick or treating with the kids. It was so much fun we are already trying to think of what we will be next year. So pictures will be coming soon, when i can get them on the computer by brother is lending us to get Ryan through this semester of classes. So I'll explain our costumes and post pictures soon. Hopefully!!
For costumes this year we had Shawn and Jamie going as Popeye and Olive Oil, which we found out more children these days need to watch the older cartoons. Very few kids, ages 5-13ish, knew who Popeye was and even fewer knew who Olive Oil was, but we all thought their costumes were great! Moving on Jenni, Chad, and Chloe were the Ringmaster, the Bearded Lady, and a White Tiger. Chloe was so cute but she didn't like the hat very much it fell in her face a lot. Ryan and I were The Bun Maker and and oven with a bun pinned to my shirt in the window for "Bun in the oven". My mom was an impromptu Hawaiian lady, my dad more having more fun with every one's costumes to dress up to he was the camera man. Debbie was a Doe Deer for school, so she kept the costume on for the evening. Amber and Chuck were mustard and Ketchup bottles, it was really cute Amber made their hats while subbing and art class. The kids were spider woman-Brooklyn, Zombies-Mickey & Cobey, Wonder Woman-Tali, and Iron Man-Carlos. Aaron was a cute dragon this year and he was so excited and think was the first year he really understood what was going on. Jesse and Mallory were a Jedi and Jedi's wife. Both costumes were really cool! Last but not least Grandma and Grandpa Treese came as old man and woman and put make-up on to make them look old! :) Hope everyone had as wonderful and safe Halloween as we did.

September

So....we've been very busy lately. As most of you know we recently moved to Cheyenne. I'm still working on getting the house the way i would like it but it's taking longer since I keep taking naps. I hope to have the house finished for the most part within the next 3 weeks.
We also had two weddings that we were both in. My brother was married Sept 18th in Denver Colorado and Ryan's sister was married the 26th in Riverton, Wy. Both were very pretty and we enjoyed them very much.

Updates for August
Hey everyone I can't believe that this summer has flow by so quickly. Well a few weeks ago we put an offer on a house and it was accepted, we close September 4th. So that's very exciting for us, but we are also a disappointed because we will miss the Flaming Gorge lake trip that Ryan's family has every year. We have been trying to think of a way to make it but so far no luck. Also we had our anatomical ultrasound on the 18th of August and found that we are right on schedule for January 10th. We found out during our ultrasound that we are having a baby girl! Ryan was wanting a little boy so much that he was momentarily disappointed but is happy all the same now. I have felt her kick and roll more frequently now which started around the beginning of August. I must say for all that your body goes through feeling that baby move is the best part aside from having them out of you I'm sure.
Well we have much more to come September is going to be a busy month with two weddings, closing on our house, and a birthday i can't wait to share some more photos with you.

Our New Home
Hey every one we have had some stressful weeks lately because we sold our current home much quicker than we had anticipated. We have been looking for houses none stop for about 3 weeks and have looked at about 10-15 homes before we found one that will work for us and our needs. We put an offer in today on our first home that we will have purchased ourselves! We are sill waiting to hear if it has been accepted. If the offer is accepted we will close on the 30th of this month which will be great because we will be staying with friends from the 20th to the 30th because we won't have a home for those 10 days. Will let you all know what happens!

Our First Dr. Appointment

We had our first baby appointment on June 16th, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was nice to finally have more proof of this little creature inside me, that i can't feel or see, was actually there. I knew i was pregnant but i didn't feel pregnant, other than my clothes becoming tight which just made me feel fat. Also trusting this $2.00 white stick with two pink lines is a little hard especially when it's telling you that you life is about to change forever.
When we saw that little baby on the monitor it was all of a sudden very real. Hearing it's little heart beat and seeing it move made me feel pregnant. Since then I have started to act more like a mommy constantly worrying about it if I'm eating the right things, praying it develops properly etc. Our next appointment is in July, but our next sonogram won't be for another 10 weeks which will be when we find out if it's a boy or girl! Ryan wants a little boy so bad! He tells me all the time he wants to teach it baseball! I on the other hand don't really care as long as it's healthy, but if Ryan asks I want a boy too. :)

Our Wedding
Well we were married December 20th, 2008 in Laramie, WY. We were married in one of the worst blizzards visibility wise that has happened in Laramie in a while. We originally had planned on about 100-150 guests and ended up having about 50 guests because of the weather. It was smaller than intended but still great! We had time to talk with all our guests and dance with tons of them as well! It was a perfect Christmas Wedding just as we had wanted!

Our new Addition
We are expecting our first child as i said above and are starting to become excited. I know that sounds a little odd but you must know we didn't plan this and it is a little scary for a newlywed couple who are still in school. Luckily i work from home with my Mark Kay business which is starting to pick up, and i am applying for an interpreting program online so i can be at home. Ryan will be on his last semester of classes this fall and then student teaching in the spring. We will be moving to Cheyenne in December hopefully so that Ryan doesn't have to be away from our new baby and commute while he is student teaching. I have my first appointment for the baby in June so there will be pictures coming soon!
